It may be hard to believe, but moving fast and going at full speed may feel like the right thing to do, but after moving at this speed since I was a child, it made me realize something-
I was in a race.
With myself, against everyone around me, with life, and I thought if I kept moving at full speed I could accomplish everything in life, perform to perfection, and never make a mistake if I am the one responsible for all of my endeavors.
HOWEVER I kept realizing something- I was...
always burning out,
always exhausted,
and felt like death was just around the corner
if I kept up at this speed. My health started to crash, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I learned this was survival mode- always looking for a way to provide for myself, control every outcome, and never let anyone else in to potentially make mistakes and ruin everything I have worked for.
